Went to Taft, graduated from SDSU in '85 w/ Journalis m/Advertising degree. Worked for various companies in the entertainment software industry. Got teaching credential at CSUN in 1990. Taught elementary school for a few years. Moved to San Francisco in 1992 and got married to Jay Bellin (Birmingham alumni). Started multimedia software & development company in 1994. Became an almost FT MOM in 1996 (have worked p/t over the years), when I had my first child. Have worked part time as a preschool teacher, have taken many hours of yoga teacher training, including teaching yoga to kids, office assistant for an MD Homeopath. Am very interested in alternative medicine.
While I don't get paid for what I do, I volunteer quite a bit for the kids' school and our temple... I have a hard time saying 'no'! But I love it :-)
Life is great living in beautiful Marin County. Not a day goes by that I don't appreciate the blessed life I have! |

Here are some things I remember: Lipsynchs in drama, Trish Arnold dressing & doing "Sweet Transvestite"; Verbie doing "Reasons" by EWF, Me playing Grace Farrell in "Annie". The algebra teacher who used to always tell silly jokes and say "Are you Cornfused?" Mr. Olsen, who had questionable ethics, but was the best English teacher I ever had!
Also, going to many fun Bar/Bat Mitzvah parties!
I was never in the "in" crowd, but friends I remember: Lynda Alberts, Elyssa Kaminsky, Melody Rose, Jill Mankowitz, Julie Promisel, Beth Goldfarb, Stacy Terrace, Tracey Brown, Pam Minus and more I can't remember! |
